Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we have it, and what we do not do with it.

Summary. We take only what we need, use it to run your appointments and stay in touch, and do not sell your information. Details below.

What we collect

We take in only what we need to work with you: scheduling details, messages between us, and session notes. Nothing beyond that.

How we use it

What you give us through this site, our online scheduling, or email is used only to serve you—bookings, follow-up, and honest record-keeping. We do not sell or hand it to other companies so they can market to you.

How long we keep records

We keep records as long as good professional practice and the law ask us to. Notes and client files are stored with care and opened only by people here who need them for your work with us.

Your choices

You can ask to see, fix, or remove your personal information. Account and appointment data live in our scheduling system; for deletion or other requests, email staff@lostintheastral.com and we will respond in keeping with this policy.

Cookies, measurement, and technical logging

The site uses a small number of cookies so basic features work. When we turn on optional tools in our hosting settings, they load only in your browser—we do not run a private database on this marketing site for your browsing history, and we do not sell that activity to data brokers.

  • Ads and traffic. We may use Google Tag Manager and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to see whether paid ads brought someone here and to improve campaigns. Those companies receive technical data from your browser under their own policies.
  • Anonymous-style button clicks. When you use certain links (for example “Book” or “Journal”), the site may send a short signal—like which button was pressed—not your name, email, or message text. This site does not have account sign-up or contact forms that submit data to us directly.
  • Campaign links (UTM). If you arrive with standard campaign tags in the address bar, we may keep those in your browser for this visit only so they can travel with you to our scheduling or portal links. They are trimmed to safe characters and are not used to profile you on this site.
  • Error reporting. We may use Sentry—a third-party service that lets us see when the site throws a technical error so we can fix it. It receives error details from your browser; we use it for repair work, not for selling data.
  • After you book. If you finish scheduling and your booking tool sends you to our “thank you” page, we may log that the flow completed—again so we can measure ads, not so we can sell your personal details.

Secure storage metaphor—protected client records
Protection

Your details belong in a file folder, not a sales list.

This page is written to be readable. Behind it is the same rule: gather little, lock it up tight, and do not toy with people's trust.
